Alison Middleton - Physiotherapist MBSc (Hons), MCSP, AACP, POGP

Specialties: pelvic health, Pilates, Reformer, gymnasts & dancers, acupuncture.

Graduating in 1997 from RGU, Alison specialised quickly within the NHS in musculoskeletal care.  During this time she was one of the first physiotherapists in the UK to complete her Pilates training and went on  to work as a consultant for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, training Pilates teachers nationally. Alison went on to establish her own business teaching Pilates across Aberdeenshire before joining Inverurie Physiotherapy and Podiatry Clinic in 2003. Since joining the practice she has further developed her other special interests in elite sports including dancers and gymnasts and acupuncture. Most recently Alison has developed a unique Pelvic Health Service which includes ante- and post-natal care, male and female continence treatment, complex pelvic pain treatment and a menopause wellness service. Alison is a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy Association and the Association of Acupuncturists in Chartered Physiotherapy. When not working she likes being in the gym and watching ballet.
