John has been in the leisure industry for over 25 years, and first became interested in health and fitness when he played rugby for his school team. He has always enjoyed pushing himself and has completed marathons, duathlons and endurance stand-up paddleboard (SUP) races. In his free time he can be found up walking in the hills. This lifelong interest in sport and exercise led him to pursue an HND in Fitness, Health and Exercise and to qualify as a NCFE Level 3 Personal Trainer. He enjoys learning and keeping his knowledge up to date and holds a large number of coaching qualifications including Kettlecise, core stability, Metafit, Boxercise and is a qualified jog leader. John’s passionate about helping people achieve their goals and looks forward to being able to work with you.
