Kevin Cole - Podiatry Clinical Specialist BSc (Hons), DPodM, MRCPod

Specialties: minor surgery, sports injuries, diabetic footcare, biomechanics.

Kevin graduated from Glasgow School of Podiatry in 1986 and has over 35 years experience as a podiatrist. He is one of Scotland's leading MSK podiatrists with expertise in biomechanics, sports injuries and minor surgery.  Kevin has a wealth of experience in speciality areas such as diabetic foot care, paediatrics and rheumatology and has held academic positions in Podiatric Education at Glasgow Caledonian University, CIT Wellington New Zealand, the University of Western Sydney and Charles Sturt University in Australia. Kevin was formerly Chairman of the Royal College of Podiatry Grampian branch and has served as a member of council for the Royal College of Podiatry.


Kevin provides highly specialised assessment and treatment for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, covering all age groups, from paediatric foot problems to age related and inflammatory foot pain. Kevin's patients include Olympians and elite sportspersons, he has worked with team GB and the Scottish Institute of Sport as well as enthusiastic amateurs. He is highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of MSK and biomechanical problems. 

 

He provides regular nail surgery clinics and  has expertise in postoperative and post injury rehabilitation.  He has continued involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate education as an expert guest lecturer.  Kevin regularly provides second opinions / expert advice for fellow podiatrist colleagues across the country as well as expert podiatrist opinion reports for the legal profession.
