Hypermobility

Physiotherapy Treatment

Hypermobility is a spectrum disorder.

Joint hypermobility means that a person’s joints have a greater range of motion than is expected.  Some people have joint hypermobility that does not cause them pain or other issues and no physiotherapy management is required.

However, some people with joint hypermobility may also have both acute and chronic pain which interferes with daily life.

Physiotherapy can help with assessment of your pain and dysfunction. Treatment can help you understand, reduce and manage your pain. It can help improve your daily function, strength, mental wellbeing and your overall quality of life.
